Stanford researchers have created an AI application that can find the location where a photo was taken by analyzing it. The application was trained on 500k Google Street View images and uses similarity of the photo with these images to geolocate it with high precision.
While this could benefit personal photo organization, it raises privacy concerns. Indeed, we need to put guardrails in place to protect our privacy.
